Lisa Michelle Skaggs Scudder, 46, of Newport departed this life on Monday, January 1, 2018 at Unity Health – Harris Hospital in Newport. She was born on April 4, 1971 in Orange County California, the daughter of James Donald and Mary Elizabeth (Sellers) Skaggs.
Lisa operated 1 st Arkansas Bails Bond, a member of Immanuel Baptist
Church in Newport and enjoyed going to the river, fishing, shooting pool, bowling, and being outdoors.
She is preceded in death by her father, Don Skaggs; grandparents, Jim and Thelma Skaggs, Elbert and Maybelle Sellers.
Lisa leaves behind son, Chase Scudder of Newport; daughters, Brooke
Coffey of Newport, Chelsea Scudder of Newport; mother, Mary Skaggs of Batesville; step-son, William Turner and wife Kristy of Newport; step-
daughters, Whitney Turner of Paragould, and Paige Burns and husband Brad of Tuckerman, Jillian Turner of Newport, and Hannah Turner of Newport; brother, Scott Skaggs and wife Kim of Newport; niece, Mallory Brothers Skaggs; grandchildren, Ayden Coffey, Joeseph Coffey, Bentley Malone; step-grandchildren, Kam Turner, Layton Turner, Addy Burns, Brailey Burns, Noah Burns, and Avery Starkey; aunts and uncles, Laura Breeden of Little Rock, Carrol Pigg of Olyphant, Buddy Seller and wife Judy of Little Rock, Faye Johnson of Little Rock, Ricky Sellers and wife Sarah of Little Rock, Sandy Sellers of Little Rock, David Hunter of Little Rock.
