Moment of Truth: President to make statement on Bond report today

President Maithripala Sirisena is expected to make a special statement regarding the final report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) into the Bond Issuance today, January 3.

Speaking to News1st, Secretary to the President Austin Fernando said that the statement would be made this afternoon.

The report was handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena on December 30.,

Meanwhile another report of the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges was handed over to the Head of State yesterday, January 2.
