Vi Explains Benefits of Phone.com Solution
It’s an exciting but challenging time to be in business, particularly for small companies. One challenge organizations face is what technology solutions and suppliers to employ to meet their needs. However, that choice was relatively easy for New Jersey-based co-working and collaboration space provider Vi. It selected Phone.com (News - Alert), a well-known entity in the state and a one-stop-shop for business communications solutions.
“When we I opened our first co-working space, we wanted a suite of ‘all under the same umbrella’ phone tools and capabilities for our team, as well as something we could offer our people and members,” said Chris Pallé, co-founder of Vi, which today has spaces in Holmdel and Oceanport. “Most are on cell phones and most make good use of the conference room. And we wanted a uniform solution for everyone. We wanted to encourage people to use the same service.”
Implementing a single-source, feature-rich business communications suite helps Vi avoid app overload and complexity, added Pallé. And it provides all the functionality Vi needs and expects to require in the future.
“I love just how feature-rich these features and offerings are,” Pallé said. “There is a lot of flexibility in terms of services, tools and capabilities, no matter what your size or the nature of your business. I also love how we don’t have to deal with multiple companies and many different apps to do different things…. Everything is so much more streamlined and simplified this way. No more cobbling things together to make things work—that has always been such a hassle!”
Phone.com provides companies like Vi with a wide array of standard features. That includes such things as auto receptionist, custom phone numbers, find-me follow-me, instant setup, user extensions, and videoconferencing.
Pallé said the auto receptionist is a particularly valuable feature for Vi. That’s because Vi is a small business with limited staff and budget. And this feature automatically routes calls to the department or extension callers want to reach.
Vi’s leader also noted the high-quality call quality and customer service Phone.com provides. Pallé also said his company has “played around with the videoconferencing tools.” And Vi is “looking forward to getting more familiar with Phone.com’s mobile app and with other meeting-related tools.”
