Maj. Dan Nicodemus, deputy chief of the Leavenworth Police Department, said Leavenworth officers made no DUI arrests Sunday night.
He said Leavenworth officers did respond to five noise complaints. Two of the noise complaints involved gunfire. The other three complaints involved the use of fireworks.
Lansing Police Chief Steve Wayman said he also believes things were quieter than usual for New Year's Eve in Lansing.
