A group of IAS Officer Trainee from LBSNAA Dehradun today visited BHEL, Bhopal. During the visit they went through various manufacturing blocks of the unit, witnessing the available facilities in the unit.
The officer also had an interaction session with DK Thakur Executive Director BHEL Bhopal. On this occasion TK Bagchi General Manager (TCB, P&D, IT), HK Nigam General Manager (EM), Amitabh Dubey AGM (HRD), and Raghvendra Shukla AGM (P&PR) were present.Addressing the officers, Thakur said that BHEL along with Transformer manufactures all power generating equipment of international standards. BHEL has forayed into more than 80 countries across all continents wresting on its own strength. He also informed the gathering of the new technology, new business areas and renewable energy business being explored by the organisation.
Earlier, Mohit Shah Sr Manager (CPX) and Arif Ahmed Siddiqui DGM (HR) briefed the officers about various products and HR policies of BHEL. Swagata Saxena DGM (HRD) coordinated the entire programme.
At the beginning Shukla welcoming the officers briefed them about various aspects of BHEL, highlighting the contribution of BHEL in the development of Bhopal and the country.
