Man repurposed his Christmas cards to use through out the year and began an internet revolution
One person's trash is another person's way to commemorate any holiday.
In thinking of creative ways to save money this year, Twitter user Joe Heenan came up with a few ideas on how to get the maximum use out of his Christmas cards.
Turns out all you need to do is add a few new words, or adjust the ones that are there.
Top tip.
Don’t throw away your old Christmas cards.
They can be reused throughout the year. pic.twitter.com/9QvyrnXxEg— joe heenan (@joeheenan) January 2, 2018
Joe's helpful examples such as "We three kings say well done on passing your driving test," "Oh deer, sorry your dad died," and "you won't get a lot of silent nights after your new baby arrives," were enough fodder for endless possibilities.
The Internet of course immediately followed suite, and the results are, oddly enough, very successful.
thanks for the tip going to save a fortune on name badges at work. pic.twitter.com/RrndyRxroL

You can't argue that "Me Chris" certainly does the trick.
Fab idea!I got 1 that had ‘From our house to yours’ on the front. I could send it to the neighbour with the added words ‘ Can you stop mowing your lawn at 8am on a Saturday, stop your dog from howling at all hours, & stop parking your fucking car over my drive you massive nobber’

Yep, sounds good to us.
It even works backwards, because why not?

Heck, will you even need to buy another card again? The answer is no, no you will not.
