Two years ago the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star first came out as being transgender.
Before her transition to a woman she had scooped an Olympic gold medal for the decathlon in 1976.
In a tell-all interview with the former athlete, the outspoken telly presenter taunted her with an old action figure doll of her American Olympic hero former self, Bruce Jenner, rolled out after his 70s sports win.
The provocative host teased on his Life Stories TV show: “How does your physique compare now. Obviously certain areas..?”

But the author and former American Football player slammed the sneering host.
She fumed: “See you made a comment there and that is why you would get in trouble. OK?”
Turning on the Good Morning Britain presenter she stormed: “You just said, ‘Certain areas?’
“That to a trans person is disrespectful.

“It is not funny. It is life. It is a very serious part of my life. I take that very seriously and so out of respect to myself and the community it is not something that you joke about.
“It is something as I said before... this is serious. You can die over this issue.”
The 68-year-old told the pushy presenter: “It is not a joke,” before telling him that she was trying to educate him on an issue he knows little about.
She insisted: “I am trying to help you here Piers.”

And in a shock move the gobby interviewer took the tongue-lashing on the chin and even admitted he was in the wrong.
A humbled Piers said: “I would not have known that. I was thinking I could make a flippant remark and I respect that.”
The activist also slapped him down for his insensitive attitude.
She said: “There is a lot of pain in my life that I dealt with and it was not a joke and all the things I have done I take very seriously as it affects a lot of people.”

And she revealed the emotional turmoil had been so intense that she even considered taking her own life at one point.
She confessed: “I thought about suicide. That is the easy way out. That is how low you can get.
“Sometimes people do succeed in that and I thought, ‘How stupid is that?
“I don’t want my voice to be silenced. I want my voice to be heard? And I want to see if I can make a difference.”
Forced into an apology the controversial telly personality simply said: “Point taken.”
