Chelsea star David Luiz will sign for Real Madrid on one condition after Arsenal snub
CHELSEA star David Luiz will sign for Real Madrid if he stays put until the summer after Arsenal ruled out a move, according to reports.
Chelsea star Luiz is facing an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge having fallen out with Antonio Conte back in November.
The Brazil international, who returned to west London from PSG in the summer of 2016, is a popular figure among the supporters.
But Chelsea boss Conte has omitted him from the team in recent weeks after he criticised their tactics before their 1-0 win over Manchester United.
Real Madrid and Arsenal have emerged as two potential suitors for the 30-year-old.
But, speaking today, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insisted the club were yet to bid for Luiz.

“I don't want to speak about any special name but these reports are wrong," he said.
Spanish website Diario Madridista claims Real are now expected to sign the player instead.
But Luiz will only move to the Bernabeu if he sits tight and waits until the summer for a move away.
It is said Real do have an interest in the veteran, with Zinedine Zidane keen to sign an experienced defensive stalwart.
The club lost Pepe to Besiktas back in the summer but they have failed to replace the Portugal international.

The loss of experienced players has hampered Los Blancos’ season with the club likely to miss out on the La Liga title to Barcelona.
Yet Real, it seems, are in no rush to bring Luiz to the capital. Though they want to sign him, they will only make their move at the end of the campaign.
What the player now does remains to be seen.
The former PSG star could still try to leave in the winter window with the World Cup in Russia taking place at the end of the season.
Should he spend the next few months languishing on the bench, Luiz’s place in that tournament could be in jeopardy.
