Sweetwater’s New Year baby arrived

On January 1, Sweetwater welcomed in more than the New Year. At 12:31 Makaya Lashae Crumbley was welcomed into the world by Mom, Kaaron Crumbley, Dr. Juan Franco and the OB/GYN staff at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Baby Makaya came into this world at 8 pounds 6 ounces with a length of 21 inches.
As is customary with the first baby born on New Year’s, local businesses donated to celebrate the arrival of little Makaya.
