Refined palmolein firms up on sustained demand
Mumbai, Jan 3 (PTI) Refined palmolein firmed up at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on sustained demand from retail buyers.
While, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial dropped following reduced demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil and linseeds oil held stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, refined palmolein edged up by Rs 3 per 10 kg to Rs 625 from Tuesday's close at Rs 622 and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 970.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 35 per 100 kg to Rs 4,415 as against Rs 4,450 yesterday and castor oil commercial slid by Rs 7 per 10 kg to Rs 913 as compared with Rs 920.
Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 800 per 10 kg. PTI BPD SBT
