Real Madrid news: Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema replacements targeted in six star spending spree

REAL MADRID have reportedly lined up Neymar, Eden Hazard and Harry Kane to replace Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema as they target six new signings.

The La Liga giants have long been known for their willingness to splash the cash on the globe’s top talent and have regularly broken the transfer fee world-record.

They kept their powder dry last summer though with Theo Hernandez the most high-profile of their buys, coming in from Atletico Madrid for £26.6m.

Real have paid the price for their lack of spending and failure of their star men to perform though and are 14 points adrift of arch-rivals Barcelona in La Liga.

However, the latest reports from Spain suggest Real are in no mood to accept that failure continuing and a cluster of big names are in their sights.

According to Diario Gol, Real are planning to break up the Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema forward line that has served them for the past three-and-a-half years.

In their respective places they want to bring in Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain, Hazard from Chelsea and Kane from Tottenham.

Neymar’s arrival at the Bernabeu is unlikely to happen this year though, with Real believing a two-year stay at PSG may be necessary.

One player who could move to the Spanish capital as soon as this week is Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao.

Real are then planning to snap up Thibaut Courtois from Chelsea at the end of the season to play ahead of the Spanish goalkeeper.

Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema are not the only stalwarts that Florentino Perez is going to provide the funds to replace.

Real skipper Sergio Ramos is some way off the end of his spell with the club he joined from Sevilla back in 2005.

But Real have a succession plan in place and Ajax centre-back Matthijs de Ligt is therefore being targeted.
