Cape Town - Absa Premiership outfit Cape Town City have confirmed the arrival of winger Surprise Ralani from Swedish club Helsingborgs IF.
“Cape Town City is delighted to officially confirm the signing of South African born winger and playmaker, Surprise Ralani from Swedish club Helsingborgs IF,” the club revealed on Twitter.
“Surprise signs for Cape Town City on the back of a 9-year stint in Europe in the Swedish and Danish Premier Leagues. This will be his first time playing in the PSL, after leaving for Sweden as a youth in 2009. He has already begun training in Cape Town and is settling in well.”
Relani is the Citizens third signing of the January transfer window after securing the services of Kwanda Mngonyama and Masoud Juma.
Meanwhile, Lehlohonolo Majoro has left the Benni McCarthy-coached side for Wits with City captain Robyn Johannes set to join Gavin Hunt’s charges at the end of the 2017/18 campaign.
City return to action on Saturday, January 6 against Platinum Stars at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium.
Kick-off is at 20:15.
