Man killed in bomb attack

A man died in a bomb attack at Chandropur village in Jhikargachha upazila of Jessore district on Wednesday.
The victim was Abbas Morol, 44, a resident of the village, reports BSS.

According to the local people, rival terrorists hurled five to six bombs at about 11 am, targeting Abbas Morol and his younger brother Kamal Hossain, a Chhatra League leader. Abbas Morol was taken to a nearby hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.

Police Super of Jessore Md Mehedi Emran Siddque said the attack may be consequence of over establishing supremacy in locality. Additional police was deployed in the area, he added.
