Conor McGregor lays down demands for UFC return 

Conor McGregor has reiterated his demand for the UFC to give him a new bumper contract before he returns to the promotion. 

“Truly, truly, truly get on your f*****g knees and beg me,” he tweeted. “Otherwise I don't give a bollox. 

“My whiskey is out this year and that's Diddy bread. And that's Diddy bread on top of already Diddy bread.

"Now get your Diddy's out and beg."

Tony Ferguson reacts to Khabib Nurmagomedov's UFC 219 victory 

Interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has vowed to take out both McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov after watching the latter defeat Edson Barboza at UFC 219. 

He tweeted: "Don't Care If The @ufc Approves, I'll Cut @TheNotoriousMMA ... Drop @TeamKhabib & Move Up To Welterweight Either B4 (sic) Or After I'm Done w/ This Division & Rid It Of The Trash At The Top.

Khabib Nurmagomedov reflects on the lightweight title picture 

Nurmagomedov has reiterated his belief that Ferguson's interim lightweight title is the 'real' 155lbs belt. 

“Real belt is 25-0,” Nurmagomedov said during the UFC 219 post-fight press conference. “This is real belt. They’re all fake belts. 

“To be honest, real belt is Tony Ferguson. Conor, he has only one fight in UFC at 155 and he have champion. 

“He beat Eddie Alvarez. He’s good fighter, but he’s not champ. I think lot of people can beat him in 155. This is my opinion. I think lot of people can beat him at 155.

"He has good boxing, good timing, but he don’t have wrestling, he don’t have grappling, he don’t have conditioning, but he have a belt.”
