NORWICH - A Plainfield woman is accused of being involved in a Sept. 9, 2017 residential burglary in Norwich in which an officer was injured, police said.
According to a press release, officers arrested Diana M. Ortiz, 45, of 9 Dougherty Ave., while she was at work in Jewett City on Friday.
Police said Ortiz is facing charges of first-degree conspiracy to commit burglary, and first-degree conspiracy to commit unlawful restraint.
On Sept. 9, 2017, police said, officers were dispatched to 251 Boswell Ave., for a report of a burglary at 2:19 a.m. According to the report, the victim noticed damage consistent with a break-in when he came home.
