Younger” is a bingeable romcom, about a woman in her 40s who pretends to be in her 20s to get a job, with the bubbly ease of “Sex and the City.” Its 48 episodes are currently on Hulu, and while the show’s ideas about what Brooklyn entails are quite silly, its digs at the publishing industry are a hoot.

Netflix’s “American Vandal” is a hilarious true-crime spoof about high-school vandalism that’s still as absorbing and intricate as the real deal, just without the morbid guilt. And with drawings of penises spray-painted onto cars.

The amiable “Great News” is sort of a “30 Rock” Lite, set at a local news station. The plots for each episode don’t matter much, so if you can only catch the terrific one-liners (“well, well, well … said Baby Jessica while having a nightmare”), you’re still in good shape.

I’m surprisingly O.K. and I enjoy British shows

“Toast of London,” on Netflix, is a showbiz comedy about a washed-up self-aggrandizing star. There’s a lot of shouting on the show, so skip it if you have a headache, but otherwise prepare to accidentally adopt the main character’s habit of saying “thanking you” instead of “thank you.” It’s catchy.
