The Munsu Water Park was commissioned by the tubby tyrant and built by his soldiers right in the heart of Pyongyang.
Spread over 37 acres, it boasts indoor and outdoor pools, wave machines, lazy rivers, a range of slides, and a two-storey gym.
Kim signed-off on construction of the multi-million dollar tourist trap while vast swathes of his people starve.
Only the North Korea elite can afford to attend the exclusive park, along with curious visitors allowed into the secretive state.
And at the entrance, you must make sure you bow to the giant state of Kim’s beloved dad Kim Jong-il.

North Korean propaganda boasts that the park was built “to make sure that [the people] enjoy all the benefits of socialist civilisation to their heart's content”.
Pyongyang claims the park welcomed 880,000 visitors in its first year – however recent reports suggest it had only 100,000 visits in the first half of 2016.
As well as swimming, Munsu Water Park offers a bakery, coffee shop, fast food outlet, brewery and a hair salon providing 28 state-approved styles.
The entrance cost is reportedly £7 ($10) for four hours – which is well beyond the reach of the average North Korean’s meagre £25 ($33).

“It’s kitsch and you feel like you’re inside a fantasy – it’s a fantasy for me as a Westerner, so of course it’s a real fantasy for the locals.”
