The Thalessemia Day Care Clinic was inaugurated above Gulani Clinic at Sant Nagar on Monday. MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Sindhu Sena president Rakesh Kukreja, Dr Rakesh Gulani, Saurabh Gangarani opened the clinic.
The clinic has been set up by Raktdhara Thalessemia Social Welfare Society. Dr Rakesh Gulani informed there will be six beds in the clinic. There is a LED TV and toys for the children’s entertainment. Raktdhara Society secretary Deepak Waswani informed that free blood would be transfused to the children suffering from thalessemia and necessary treatment would be provided to them free of charge.
On this occasion Dr Rakesh Gulani was honored with Sindhu Sena 2017 Samman for his initiative by MLA Rameshwar Sharma and Sindhu Sena president Rakesh Kukreja.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Gujarat Thalessemia Society president Praful Joshi, Rajesh Soni, Vikas Wadhwani, Rakesh Shevani, Vishal Manwani, Manish Meghani and others. On this occasion blood was transfused to three children suffering from thalessemia.
