A man has been found dead in a trench beneath a skyscraper in London’s Canary Wharf.
Paramedics were called to a construction site on Bank Street after reports of a person falling from one of the buildings. The London Fire Brigade said the man fell around 50ft.
The Metropolitan Police said the body was found in a "deep trench" and officers in Tower Hamlets were investigating the "unexplained" death.
They said he is not thought to have been working on the construction site.
