Well, we have barely recovered from the biggest wedding hangover of 2017 ie Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli‘s nuptials and now the latest buzz doing the rounds is that Varun Dhawan and girlfriend Natasha Dalal will be tying the knot mid 2018 and we can’t contain our excitement already. Yes, we can understand that you’re a bit confused as a couple of days ago their relationship had kind of taken a hit, if reports were to go by. Many even believed that the two had parted ways for good. However, Natasha was recently spotted at Varun’s house warming party and given that it was a family affair, goes to show, that she has always been more than just a friend for the talented actor. Lately, Natasha was also spotted in the same picture with Varun when he was seen having dinner with friends. All these are enough proof that the the two are still very much together.
Well, recently in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Varun opened up his marriage plans. He said, “Honestly, I would love to do that, but I don’t know how my parents would react to it. Being Punjabis, they would want to do it in the traditional way. I have just moved into my new house, and I want to enjoy this part of life for a couple of years before I think of the next step.” While he didn’t mention the dates, he hasn’t denied it either. Varun has in fact spoken about Natasha several times before —at Koffee with Karan and also during Neha Dhupia’s podcast. He had very specifically mentioned that unlike other actors he has never felt the need to hide his relationship as he has been spotted with her at several occasions. He said that he never spoke about it openly as media would, like always, find different ways of narrating it. Given that she is not from the film fraternity, he said that it will always be his responsibility to protect her from the intense scrutiny. He had said, “I am protecting my personal life because for me that’s my sanctity.
