The video begins showing the giant beast attempting to flee the attention of the two predatory cats out on an open plain thought to be in South Africa.
Unable to run away, the buffalo turns to face the hyenas head-on but the pair split either side of it, leaving the big mammal confused which way to turn.
While one distracts from the front, the other sneaks closer to it from the rear and launches a sickening attack.

It grabs the poor animal’s genitals in its mouth and rips ferociously, grounding the huge bull instantly.
The two hyenas immediately jump on the stricken buffalo leaving it unable to get back up before beginning to feast on it alive.
More than 200,000 people have seen the hideous clip since it was posted on Youtube, leaving viewers speechless.
