This just in: It's cold!
Ok, that's not really news anymore.
But now that the area has spent some time in the throes of an Arctic blast, considerable ice has formed in the Delaware River along Mercer and Bucks counties.
If this ice was around last week, Washington Crossing re-enactors might have been able to tiptoe across the river on their way to surprising the Hessians.
Beyond the views of ice upon ice visible to commuters driving on the highways and bridges, here's a closer look at some of the artistic patterns nature is painting on the canvas of the icy Delaware.
