An Abilene man was killed Sunday morning in an ice-related crash south of Sweetwater.
According to the preliminary crash report, Florencio Lara Diaz, 68 was headed west on a snow and ice covered Hwy 277.
Around 11:30 a.m., Diaz lost control of his 2002 Ford pickup, about 4 miles northwest of Wingate. To read more, please refer to our print or online edition.
