Channel 5 will be launching an extra-special series of the show this year with an all-female line-up to mark 100 years since women in Britain got the vote.

Once the initial crop of female housemates is announced, Celebrity Big Brother will start to introduce male celebrities into the mix and see how the dynamic will change.

Rachel Johnson, journalist and sister to Boris Johnson. was the first to be confirmed tol be entering the Elstree compound.

There have also been rumours swirling that a whole host of reality and soap stars could be taking part in in the show as well.

Producers have also been teasing the housemates on the programme’s social media channels, showing tantalising glimpses of different body parts belonging to celebrities.

Rachel Johnson

Journalist Rachel Johnson was confirmed to be joining the Celebrity Big Brother line-up last month.

The 52-year-old is sister to Boris Johnson and daughter to Stanley, who recently did his own reality TV series stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 

Ann Widdecombe 

Continuing in a similar vein, former Tory politician Ann Widdecombe has been confirmed to be entering the Borehamwood bungalow. 

Sources told the Mirror that the ex-MP, 70, would be heading into the house and see was even spotted staying at a hotel near the CBB studios.

Amanda Barrie 

The Coronation Street legend is another name confirmed for the line-up and most recently took part in The Real Marigold Hotel.

The 82-year-old has had a lengthy screen career that’s also included several Carry On films.

Ashley James 

Model Ashley James has previously appeared on Made In Chelsea and was reportedly linked to Little Britain and Britain’s Got Talent star David Walliams. 

The 30-year-old was named as an early favourite for the house with sources telling The Sun: "Producers were eager to sign her up to stir up some arguments and have some fun in the house with what is set to be a standout series.

"She is also single so there is a chance she could find love in the house when the boys enter the show."

Charlotte Dawson

Ex On The Beach favourite Charlotte Dawson is thought to have been one of the housemates teased to be going in this year. 

While Channel 5 have stayed quiet but fans have speculated that the reality star, 24, is going to be a housemate.

Malika Haqq

British audiences may be less familiar with Malika Haqq but Keeping Up With The Kardashians are likely to know of Khloe’s best friend. 

The 34-year-old was reportedly spotted at Heathrow Airport and there have been suggestions that she’s getting a hefty payout to take part in the show

India Willoughby 

Transgender journalist India Willoughby has spoken openly about her transition on shows like Loose Women.

The 50-year-old has been confirmed to be joining the show and could prove to be a force to be reckoned with.  

Jess Impiazzi 

The Ex On The Beach star Jess Impiazzi is also a businesswoman and model with her own line of sportswear.

The 28-year-old is engaged to rugby player Danny Solomona. 

Louise Thompson

Made In Chelsea star Louise Thompson looks set to be following in her brother Sam’s footsteps with rumours that she’s taking part. 

The 27-year-old is thought to be another one whose place in the house was teased earlier this year. 

Maggie Oliver

The former detective constable is the perhaps the only non-celebrity to be taking part. 

Maggie’s fight for justice for victims of the Rochdale grooming scandal were turned into a BBC drama last year called Three Girls.

Elizabeth McKenna 

From the boardroom to the Diary Room, The Apprentice star Elizabeth McKenna is set to continue her reign of reality TV.

The 39-year-old recently told Digital Spy: "I would consider it. I'm a huge fan of Celebrity Big Brother and it's flattering to be thought of in that way.”

Sandra Martin 

Gogglebox’s Sandra Martin was rumoured after she had to leave panto in Maidenhead last year. 

If she does join, the 55-year-old will following on from her friend Sandi Bogle who was in the last series. 

Sinitta 

The Eighties singer Sinitta is said to be taking part in the show this time around following a snub by Simon Cowell. 

Sinitta, 54, is usually helping The X Factor boss, 59, with the show but is at a loose end this year.

Charlotte Leslie 

Charlotte Leslie is said to be heading into the house and has previously been voted the “sexiest MP in parliament”.

The 39-year-old pro-Brexit politician’s position on the line-up remains a mystery as the show’s boss wouldn’t confirm or deny the addition. 

Shobna Gulati

Famed for Coronation Street, Shobna Gulati is said to be participating in the show.

The 51-year-old played Sunita Alahan on the ITV soap and has also starred on Victoria Wood’s Dinnerladies.

Laura Simpson 

Laura Simpson hit the headlines last year after she was photographed in a car with footballer Wayne Rooney.

The 29-year-old later went on This Morning to tell her side of the story about the pictures. 

Michelle Mone

Ultimo businesswomen Michelle Mone looks likely to be heading up a powerhouse of women on Celebrity Big Brother this year.

The 46-year-old looks set to be passing up her luxuries for the tasks of Big Brother. 

Michaella McCollum

Michaella McCollum is best known for being jailed in South America after she and her friend Melissa Reid tried to smuggle cocaine from Peru to Spain.

Rumours started of her joining the show when her boyfriend DJ Brad Houston wrote on Facebook: “Hope she gets it, the girl deserves some good luck."

Talulah-Eve Brown 

Talulah-Eve Brown was the first transgender contestant on Britain’s Top Model.

The 22-year-old is thought to be in talks with producers to join the programme. 

Jonny Mitchell

Love Island star Jonny Mitchell is thought to be taking part and swapping the villa for the house.

According to The Sun, the 26-year-old has already signed on the dotted line but won’t be appearing until later on when the male contestants are introduced. 

Ginuwine

Nineties rapper Ginuwine is one of the male housemates thought to be joining. 

The 47-year-old American are hoping that he will be bring some romance to the house, according to the Mirror. 

Andrew Brady 

Along with Elizabeth McKenna, fellow Apprentice candidate Andrew Brady could be going in.

The 26-year-old is thought to be taking part at a later stage.  

Spencer Matthews 

Made In Chelsea favourite Spencer Matthews could be trying his luck in the house with the ladies.

There could be an awkward reunion between the 28-year-old and his ex-Louise. 

Nathan Henry

Nathan Henry is best known for his antics on Geordie Shore but he could be stepping into the house tonight. 

The 26-year-old is already known to be a fan of the programme and is very vocal about it on social media. 

Scott Disick

Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Scott Disick could be making an impression if he goes on the show. 

It’s not yet know whether he will definitely be joining with questions over his fee for appearing. 

Rodrigo Alves

Rodrigo Alves - also known as the human Ken doll - has been rumoured to be taking part.

He’s had multiple surgical procedures in a bid for physical perfection and has spoken about his operations previously.
