A new mayor is set to take office in New Hampshire's largest city.

Manchester Mayor-elect Joyce Craig will be sworn into office on Tuesday.

In the November election, Craig, a Democrat, beat four-term Republican Mayor Ted Gatsas.

Democratic U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan will introduce Craig before her inauguration speech.

Craig, a former alderman, has said her priorities as mayor will be to improve city schools, reduce crime and to address the opioid crisis.
