(MENAFN - Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR: Unknown miscreants set on fire a truck carrying curriculum books in Nowshera on Monday night.

Police said unknown miscreants set fire to a truck loaded with 350 bags of curriculum books of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) near Cantt Railway Station due to which thousands of books were burnt. The Fire Brigade and Rescue 1122 personnel doused the fire, but all the books in the trucks were burnt.

The books were brought from Islamabad to Nowshera in a train and were to be distributed in different branches of the university in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
