DHAKA: Flight operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport have been suspended temporarily amid low visibility due to dense fog early Tuesday (January 2).
Incoming and outgoing flights for all the domestic and international routes failed to take off or land here since 4:00am.
Civil Aviation Security Officer Superintendent of Police (SP, APBn) Bhuiyan Mahbub Hasan told Banglanews that the flight operations will be resumed once the fog disappears.
However, flight operations are facing frequent disruption here since late November due to poor visibility caused by thick fog.
