The 75th Annual Golden Globes are almost here, which means you need to start preparing yourself to have and/or witness many, many fights about whether or not Big Little Lies deserves to be nominated -- let alone win -- in the Limited Series categories. Sides will be taken. Families will be broken.
The Golden Globes will be broadcast from the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday, Jan. 7th at 8/7c on NBC. Seth Meyers will host, and Oprah Winfrey will accept the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award.
Popular nominees in the TV categories include the aforementioned Big Little Lies as well as Feud: Bette and Joan, The Crown, The Handmaid's Tale and Stranger Things. Game of Thrones managed to snag a nomination in the Drama Series category, but with such heavy competition this year, you probably shouldn't hold your breath on that one. In fact, if you're willing to root for an underdog, you might want to keep your eye on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel in the Comedy Series category, which has become somewhat of a critical darling.
