Bus hits stationary truck, 12 injured

KANPUR: A bus of UP state road transport corporation (UPSRTC) rammed into a stationary truck on a highway in Auraiya district on Monday morning, leaving 12 passengers injured.

The accident took place near Karampur village. The truck had developed snag on Sunday night. It was parked on the highway. The bus hit the truck on Monday morning due to thick fog.


The bus was coming from Lucknow on Monday morning. The driver failed to see the stationary truck. As many as 12 bus passengers were injured. They were rushed to district hospital for first aid.
