Graeme Souness reveals why Wayne Rooney is better under Sam Allardyce than Jose Mourinho
WAYNE ROONEY is doing one thing better this season compared to his final campaign at Manchester United - scoring goals.

That is according to Sky Sports pundit and former Liverpool midfielder Graeme Souness.
Rooney has scored 11 goals in 26 games in all competitions for Everton this season since rejoining the club last summer.
That is already more than the tally of eight goals he scored in his final, and Jose Mourinho's debut, season at Manchester United.
He is the Toffees’ top scorer, with only four other players scoring more than his 10 in the Premier League this term.
He’s got so many good qualities, he alone can win a game for you
Souness was asked by Sky Sports presenter Kelly Cates: “As for Everton and Wayne Rooney, has Sam Allardyce brought something out of his game that we haven’t seen for a little while?”
Souness has been impressed with the former England captain, especially with his form in front of goal.
“Yeah he’s scoring goals, he’s always done that,” the Scot said of the Everton man.
“At 32 he’s not going to have the same youthful legs, he won’t be able to get around the park.

“I mean he’s got so many good qualities, he alone can win a game for you.
“I don’t see him starting every game, I think he will look after him in that respect.
“He has a big part to play when the 90 minutes come along. He has an equally as big a part to play in and around the football club.
“He’s done everything in the game, he’s a record holder in so many areas. When you’re a manager you’re looking for someone to be a role model.”
