President Trump Threatens Kim Jong Un With His 'Bigger And More Powerful' Nuclear Button
President Donald Trump says size matters—when it comes to nukes.
The Leader of the Free World baited North Korea's Kim Jong Un Tuesday night with a warning about America's nuclear arsenal that he posted on, of course, Twitter.
"North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the 'Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times,'" Trump wrote. "Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!"

Trump's online taunt came after Kim warned in a New Year's Eve broadcast that the entire United States now lies within range of a missile strike from the rogue state. Kim promised North Korea would “mass produce nuclear warheads and ballistic missiles and speed up their deployment.”
Trump's internet diplomacy, a hallmark of his freshman year in office, also came in the wake of criticism from China over his remarks on North Korea being caught, as he put it, "RED HANDED" in an illegal oil-sale deal. The Chinese Communist Party's official organ said Trump's was not acting "how a U.S. president should behave."
About 15 minutes after Trump lobbed Tuesday night's social media attack at North Korea's leader, he returned to Twitter with an update of a different nature.
"I will be announcing THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR on Monday at 5:00 o’clock. Subjects will cover Dishonesty & Bad Reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media," he wrote. "Stay tuned!"
It was a busy day for the commander-in-chief's Twitter followers. Earlier in the day, the president, newly returned from a golf-heavy holiday break at his Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago, had conducted more foreign policy via Twitter. Among other things, he raised the possibility of cutting off U.S. foreign aid to Palestinians with a Dangerfield-esque post that alluded to "no respect" despite "HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS" that the U.S. provides in "massive payments to them."
