OCN launches 4K TV services

Russian regional operator Omsk Cable Networks (OCN) has begun test operation of pay-TV services under the 4K standard. It claims to be the first pay-TV operator working using the UHD standard in the city of Omsk.

Customers with television sets that support 4K can get the channels Ultra Cinema 4K and Russkiy Extreme 4K. Under a seasonal promotion, all DVB-C services are available for customers until 09 January.
