Holby City viewers baffled by epic Oliver Valentine gaffe: 'Can't figure it out'

HOLBY City fans were confused by Oliver Valentine's condition in tonight's episode.

The specialist registrar, played by James Anderson, was shot in the head during the recent shooting rampage throughout the hospital.

While Raf di Lucca, played by Strictly winner Joe McFadden, was the one to be killed off, Oliver lived to see another day.

His wife Zosia March (Camilla Arfwedson) returned after leaving earlier this year so that she could tend to him in hospital.

But while Oliver slowly regained his memory, realising who his wife was and that his sister Penny was dead, fans were left confused by his appearance.

Viewers wondered whereabouts Oliver was shotas the camera showed both sides of his head, and the patient didn't appear to have any bandages on at all.

One fan posted: "Shot in the head. Had surgery, yet his hair is as pristine as ever. Obviously had an on-call emergency hairdresser in theatre."
