Michelle L. Trujillo, of La Junta, passed away on December 29, 2017 at the Colorado Acute Long Term Hospital in Denver, CO; she was 48 years old. Michelle married Paul A. Trujillo in 1998 in La Junta.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Paul A. Trujillo of La Junta; son, Marcos Angel (Kayla Sandoval) Trujillo of La Junta; daughter, Alisha (Andres) Trujillo-Maes of Colorado Springs; grandchildren, Xavier, Enrique, Graciella, La’vaiah, and Emilliano Trujillo-Maes; grandmother, Charlene Snyder of La Junta; mother, Janice Snyder of La Junta; brother, Brian Whatley of La Junta; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Irene Trujillo of La Junta; aunts, Sylvia (Michael) Douglass of La Junta and Karen (Lonnie) Estep of Peralta, NM; cousins, Kimi Warren, Patricia (Aarron) Macias and their children Zane, Dax & Bryn; cousins, Levi and Sally Dellinger, Sean and Cassie Douglass and their children Chloe, Joshua, Michael, and Taylor; cousin Chris and Sarah Douglass and their child Rory. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Warren Snyder; uncle, Gary Snyder; and her aunt, Victoria Joyce Warren.

Funeral service will be held Friday, Jan 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the First Christian Church with Reverend Ron Skorick officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, Jan 4, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Peacock Memorial Chapel.
