Man killed, sister injured during St. Petersburg attack

ST. PETERSBURG — Police are looking for a suspect in an attack during the weekend at a home in Coquina Key that left a 68-year-old man dead and his sister badly injured.

Police answered a call for help about 7:30 a.m. Monday at 4245 Elkcam Blvd SE, where they found Paul Dumas dead and his sister Elaine Vidinha, 63, injured. Elaine Vidinha was in critical but stable condition at Bayfront Hospital.

The attacker was someone known to the victims, police said.
