That’s according to journalist Manuel Veth who believes the former Juventus midfielder could move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
Goretzka is widely expected to leave Schalke for Bayern in the same window which could lead to the Blues swoop.
Chelsea boss Conte previously worked with Chile international Vidal when he was in charge at Juventus.
Veth believes the duo will link up once more when Goretzka completes his transfer.
“Sense has been for quite some time that Bayern had nailed down Goretzka,” he wrote on Twitter.
