DHAKA: Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police detained four suspected members of a robber gang in drives conducted in different parts of Dhaka on Monday night (Jan 1).
Moreover, Tk 13 lakh was also seized from their possession.
Earlier on December 14, a group of robbers snatched huge amount of cash and gold from a gold trader in Katwali thana area. DB men detained the robbers with this connection.
DMP Assistant commissioner (AC) Sumon Kanti Chowdhury told Banglanews that the details of this matter will be revealed in a press conference at DMP media center on Tuesday noon.
