The 34-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has jetted over from America to take part in the series, but her fears got the better of her as she struggled to remain in control during an interview with presenter Emma Willis. 

After admitting her worries about the “aggressiveness” of the cameras, Emma assured Malika: “It’s a very positive series so don’t worry it’s not going to be aggressive.”

Explaining that her friends had travelled to the UK with her, she said: “My sisters are so far and they flew here to be here with me so I’m so happy.”

Seeming to sense the brunette’s nerves about entering the famous Borehamwood bungalow, Emma then asked: “Would you like a little cuddle before you go in?” 

“Please,” Malika begged, before adding: “I’m not gonna cry.”

Walking over to the two women in the audience, Malika held on tightly as they whispered words of support. 

Attempting to keep the live launch going, Emma was forced to say: “She’s gonna be fine,” before she suddenly realised that Malika was struggling to cope.

“Oh my god she’s crying already,” she declared, as she led Malika over the stage.

Malika’s fellow housemates so far include former MP Ann Widdecombe, Made in Chelsea star Ashley James, transgender news reader India Willoughby and journalist Rachel Johnson.
