Barcelona boss has approved plans to sign Manchester United star Ander Herrera
BARCELONA boss Ernesto Valverde has reportedly approved a deal to sign Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera.

Barcelona have been linked with a move for Manchester United ace Herrera since the summer.
The Spain international has struggled for game time at Old Trafford this season with Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic now established as the club’s main midfield pairing.
Herrera’s contract with Manchester United expires at the end of the season and, based on his performances this campaign, a renewal appears unlikely.
And Catalan newspaper Sport say Barcelona boss Valverde wants to bring the 28-year-old to the Nou Camp.
Herrera previously played under Valverde at Athletic Bilbao.
Together, they helped the club flourish in La Liga, securing European football.

And despite Herrera’s inconsistent form, Sport say Valverde is desperate to secure a reunion.
The former Bilbao man could slot into a midfield alongside Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets.
Yet he may not be the only United player moving to Barcelona.
It is said the club also retain an interest in Daley Blind.
Blind’s time at Old Trafford appears to be drawing to a close with Jose Mourinho still unsure over his best position.
Barcelona are supposedly keen on him because of his versatility and Blind’s experience could also prove key.

Meanwhile, Valverde has admitted he is open to adding to his squad this winter.
"Regarding the January window obviously we are who we are and we are open to becoming even better,” he said.
“We know that we have to compete in order to be the best.
"In the same way that other clubs worry about improving their squad so do we to an extent.
“When that happens, we'll make an announcement."
