Sorry y’all, David Goodwin’s mom officially won Christmas this year.
Mary and David Goodwin are huge Golden Girls fans, and spent years watching the sitcom together. A few months ago, Mary, 59, got the idea for the perfect Christmas gift for her son when one of his friends tagged him in a Facebook post about crocheted character dolls. Mary mentioned the post to him, and he confirmed how much he loved them.
Fast forward to Christmas morning this year when David unwrapped hand-crocheted versions of all four Golden Girls characters—Sophia, Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose.
"Y'all I really don't deserve my mom," he wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of his epic gift. "She hand crocheted me the Golden Girls."
Since December 25, the tweet has raked in nearly 10,000 retweets and more than 65,000 likes.
