Delbert D. Deschner, 90, formerly of Natoma, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017, in Wichita.
He was born Dec. 6, 1927, north of Natoma to Martin and Emma (Blank) Deschner. He was a 1945 graduate of Natoma High School.
He married Barbara Griffin on Sept. 7, 1956. She preceded him in death April 5, 1970. He later married Charlotte (Young) Meyers. She preceded him in death April 15, 2008. He was a farmer.
Survivors include four sons, Michael Deschner, Scott City, Bruce Deschner and Michael L. Meyers, both of Topeka, and Bradley Deschner, Great Bend; two daughters, Kim Davis, Manhattan, and Lori Wangsgard, Wichita; a sister, Delphine Atkinson, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Peace Lutheran Church, Natoma; cremation has been selected by the family and inurnment will follow at Natoma Lutheran Cemetery.
Family will greet guests at the church the day of the service.
Memorials are suggested to Peace Lutheran Church or Natoma Heritage Seekers Museum in care of Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Natoma.
