Jose Mourinho BLASTS Man Utd legend Paul Scholes after Paul Pogba comments

JOSE MOURINHO has slammed Manchester United legend Paul Scholes after his Paul Pogba comments.

The Frenchman played a starring role as the Red Devils beat Everton 2-0 this evening.

But against the Saints on Saturday, Pogba drew criticism for his anonymous performance.

Speaking on BT Sport after the tie, Scholes lambasted the 24-year-old, saying: 'Where is the Paul Pogba we saw at Juventus?

"He was all over the pitch, he was battling, he was tackling, he was sprinting to people, he was scoring goals from 25 yards out.

"He is just strolling through games."

“I don't think he comment. He criticises - which is a different thing”

But tonight, Mourinho has responded.

And the United boss has not held back.

"The only thing Paul Scholes does is criticise," Mourinho said.

"I don't think he comment. He criticises - which is a different thing."

Paul Scholes lambasted Paul Pogba after the Southampton

"Scholes will be in history as a phenomenal player - not as a pundit.

"If one day Paul decides to become a manager I wish that he can be 25% as successful as myself.

"It is not Paul Pogba's fault that he made much more money than Paul Scholes.

"It's just the way football is."

Pogba silenced his critics this evening, assisting both Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard for their second half goals.
