EastEnders spoilers: Mick Carter fate 'revealed' after killer shooting

EASTENDERS fans were horrified when fan favourite Mick Carter was shot last night.

Mick, played by Danny Dyer, appeared to be victim of the shooting after he tried to pull off a dangerous heist.

Viewers of the soap are desperate to find out if Mick has survived being shot from such a close range.

But it looks like Mick is going to be in the clear, as he has recently signed a two year contract with the BBC soap, as revealed by the Daily Star.

MYSTERIOUS: Fans want to know who the shooter really is

Fans took to social media to guess that Mick will pull through, and who they thought the mysterious who shot him was.

One posted: "Pretty sure Mick will recover from the gun shot. He won't die, because there is no news of Danny Dyer leaving!"

Another added: "Mick won't die because we still need to find out how he recognises the guy who shot him."

ALIVE?: Fans are convinced that the soap wouldn't kill Mick off

A third chipped in: "They won't kill off Mick, he makes the soap."

A fourth wrote: "I'm convinced the shooter is Lee, so it wouldn't make sense for Mick to die if I am right?? Just wanna know what's happening."

The shooter was revealed to be Callum 'Halfway' Highway in the end credits, but his relation to Mick remains unknown.

Fans will know that Mick got a text from him earlier in the soap, saying that he would be dropping by to see him.

Let's hope Mick really is alright…
