Re: Story, Dec. 28, “Big upgrades in store for Fort Walton Landing”

The city of Fort Walton Beach is applying for a grant and plans to spend millions of dollars on Fort Walton Landing. The picture on Page 11 of the Daily News shows two homeless men resting in the gazebo after a hard morning of “work” at the corner of Perry Avenue and U.S. Highway 98. All of their worldly belongings are on the seats across from them where they can keep watch.
