As filming for season eight continues, it seems that talent agencies across the globe are the ones responsible for dropping spoilers. 

Watchers On the Wall writes that Megan Parkinson, who plays Alys Karstark, will be returning for the final few episodes. 

Her agency, Independent Talent, noted that she is part of “seasons seven and eight” under her list of credits. 

What’s more, Harry Grasby, who plays young Ned Umber, is also due to return. 

The fan site noted that he was spotted at Belfast airport some months ago - around the same time the rest of the Game of Thrones cast were there too. 

Both actors play characters who have sworn their allegiance to Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) so it appears the time has come for them to pick up their swords and join the promised battle against the Night King (Vladimir Furdik).

And heroic Jon is not alone - with his help from Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), he is certain to bring a huge army to the White Walkers. 

As well, Jon will need a big army should he decide to challenge Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) for the Iron Throne now he has a genuine right to it. 

What’s more, the report also reveals a brand new character will join the cast in the final ever season. 

The Lisa Richards Agency says that one of their clients, Seamus O’Hara, is currently filming on the HBO fantasy. 

Spotlight notes that his character is called “Fergus”, but little else is known of the newcomer. 

It can be assumed that he will have a fairly important role, as it seems unlikely the show will introduce a minor character for little-to-no reason. 

Game of Thrones is expected to return to Sky Atlantic in 2018.
