Reg Traviss, 40, directed the actress on 2015 Brit gangster flick Anti-Social.
He claims that industry chiefs wanted Meghan, 36, to strip off to liven up the film, according to The Sun.
However, Reg felt it “wasn’t needed for the story” and decided not to write one in.

But the director – who dated Amy Winehouse – is convinced Meghan would have gone the extra mile.
He told the paper: “I think with all serious actors they’re willing to portray anything if the story calls for it.
“If it’s appropriate then doing a nude scene is no different to doing anything else, a fight scene or a long monologue.
“I can only imagine Meghan would fall into that category.”

She also starred in a steamy episode of the hit teen show 90210 and got frisky with one of the lead characters.
A psychic recently predicted that Meghan and Prince Harry’s fairytale romance will come crashing down.
The royal lovebirds announced their engagement last month and are due to tie the knot next May.

However, psychic Kerrie Erwin doesn’t have high hopes for the happy couple.
She said: “I do get (feelings of) a pregnancy for her next year. But actually I don’t think it’s going to last.
“I’d probably give it five years. I feel there is a lot of personal things going on between them because they’re two very strong individuals.”
