Conor McGregor defended by Dana White
UFC president Dana White has defended Conor McGregor's failure to defend his lightweight title.
"For people to suggest that, you're just a Conor hater," White told ESPN. "Because if you look at how everything played out, Conor has fought everybody.
"When he won the 155-pound belt, he dropped the 145-pound belt, which we made him do. He tried not to do it, but he contractually had to let go of the 145-pound belt.
"He became the 155-pound champion, and his next fight was against Floyd Mayweather. He has to defend the title now. So, how has he never defended the title?"

Conor McGregor faces another call for him to be stripped of his title
Lightweight title contender Khabib Nurmagomedov has called on the UFC brass to relieve McGregor of his 155lbs title.
“I think they have to take the belt from Conor and make him humble,” Nurmagomedov told MMAjunkie.
“And that’s it – everything gets finished. Next fight, next year, in March or April, I’m going to fight for the title. This is the plan.”
Conor McGregor’s chances of beating Georges St-Pierre ruled out by Joe Rogan
UFC commentator Joe Rogan reckons McGregor would have his work cut out for him in a fight with Georges St-Pierre.
“If he thinks an MMA fight with GSP is a good idea, that’s a big guy,” he said during a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience Podcast. “He’s very big.

“Georges St-Pierre is one of the best fighters of all time. He’s so f*****g good at grappling.
“But, Conor might go, ‘F**k it, give me a couple of months to put some weight on.’ But if that’s where all the money is, who knows?
“I think Tony Ferguson is the fight, that’s the fight I want to see now. Until I see what happens with (Edson Barboza and Khabib (Nurmagomedov).”
