DHAKA: Flight operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport resumed at around 08:00am, after almost four hours of disruption due to low visibility caused by dense fog early Tuesday (January 2).
Earlier, no incoming and outgoing flights of different domestic and international routes could take off or land here, since 4:00am.
Civil Aviation Security Officer Superintendent of Police (SP, APBn) Bhuiyan Mahbub Hasan told Banglanews that the flight operations have been resumed as the fog disappeared.
However, flight operations are facing frequent disruption here since late November due to poor visibility caused by dense fog.
