With the 2017 NFL regular season in the books, the offseason for non-playoff teams has officially arrived. That means underachieving teams will move on from head coaches and general managers.
Who's on the hot seat? Which owners will make sweeping changes?
Will Jon Gruden take over an underachieving Oakland Raiders franchise? What's next for Bruce Arians and the Arizona Cardinals? Is it time for the Texans and Bill O'Brien to go in opposite directions?
Are the Giants prepared to move forward with a coaching search--or will new general manager Dave Gettleman fire more within the front office?
How many coaches will be axed? Will any teams change their mind on retaining coaches? Who could be the surprise firing? How many college coaches, like, say, Jim Harbaugh or David Shaw, could make the leap to grab one of the openings?
Will teams get rid of good coaches to potentially find the next wave of great young minds? Is another Sean McVay out there for a team to pluck and turn around a moribund franchise within one or two seasons?
Those questions will be answered around the NFL today and over the coming weeks.
