With haze and low visibility the State capital witnessed cold conditions on the last morning of the year; intense cold conditions were witnessed in the early morning hours.
Harsher weather conditions would be witnessed across the state and warning of shallow fog at few places in Gwalior, Rewa and Sagar division has been issued by Met department.

Bhopal and Chambal divisions recorded temperatures above the normal temperature.
Several places recorded low night temperatures on Saturday. Nowgong recorded night temperature at 5.5 degree Celsius. Khajuraho and Mandla recorded night temperature at 6 degree Celsius.
The day temperatures have been recorded around 24 degree Celsius except 4-5 places in the state. On Sunday Shivpuri recorded day temperature at 34 degree Celsius.
The night temperature at Raisen which is among the nearby areas was recorded at 8.5 degree Celsius. The region witnesses extreme weather conditions.
